The Ourika Valley, 30 km from Marrakech, is hidden among the first buttresses of the Atlas. It is a beautiful valley with adobe villages hanging on the side of the mountain. In the village of Tnine-de-Lóurica, the Saffron garden is a saffron plantation that can be visited. A little further, bioaromatic gardens cultivate its 45 varieties of aromatic and medicinal plants that can be smelled and tasted. The Timalizene garden also offers Berber tea flavored with garden herbs. On this excursion you will tour the High Atlas Mountains and see the way of life of its inhabitants. Upon arrival at Ourika you can stroll through the valley, eat in one of the traditional restaurants and enjoy free time (two hours) to visit the Ourika Waterfalls. If you take the excursion on a Monday or Thursday you will have the possibility to visit one of the traditional markets in the area, on Monday ourika and Thursday on Aghbalou and on Tuesdays and Saturdays you can also visit the markets of Asni or Tahanaout.
